Shipping policy
Processing Time
Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–3 business days of payment or purchase order confirmation. Institutional orders requiring a formal quote will be dispatched once the quote/PO is confirmed and payment terms are met.
Shipping Rates
- Cameras and bundled orders: Free shipping on all orders over $300.
- Standalone accessory orders under $300 (e.g. a single C-mount adapter): a flat shipping fee of $15 applies.
- Shipping costs, where applicable, are calculated at checkout based on delivery location and parcel weight/dimensions.
Carrier & Handling
We ship via Australia Post, with Extra Cover and Signature on Delivery applied to all orders given the value and fragility of our equipment. Larger or institutional/multi-item orders may be shipped via TNT/FedEx for added handling reliability.
All items are carefully packaged to protect against damage in transit. If you have specific packaging or handling requirements (e.g. delivery to a loading dock, or delivery coordination with your facilities team), let us know when ordering and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery timeframes (from dispatch):

These are estimates only and not guaranteed, particularly during peak periods or for regional/remote university and lab addresses.
Delivery Address & Signature
- Please ensure your delivery address includes any relevant building, floor, or department details to avoid delays — this is especially important for university and institutional deliveries.
- As all shipments require a signature on delivery, please ensure someone is available to receive the parcel, or provide instructions for reception/mailroom delivery where applicable.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by incomplete or inaccurate address details provided at checkout.
Institutional & Grant-Funded Orders
We regularly work with universities and research institutions on formal quotes and purchase orders. If your purchase needs to go through an institutional procurement process, contact us at [contact email] and we'll provide the necessary documentation, including quotes suitable for grant applications.
International Shipping
We do not currently offer international shipping — contact us at hello@labpix.com.au to discuss options.
Tracking
A tracking number will be provided by email once your order has been dispatched.
Damaged, Lost, or Delayed Items
