1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or purchasing from this website ("Labpix," "we," "us," "our"), operated by [Scope Scientific Pty Ltd], you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this site.

2. About Our Products

Labpix sells microscope cameras and related accessories intended for research, educational, and laboratory use. Product descriptions, specifications, and images are provided in good faith and are as accurate as possible at time of publishing, but minor variations may occur. We reserve the right to correct errors in pricing or descriptions at any time before an order is confirmed.

3. Ordering and Payment

  • Orders may be placed via the website checkout or by requesting a formal quote for institutional/purchase-order buyers.
  • For institutional buyers, payment terms (e.g. net 30) may be arranged separately and will be confirmed in writing on the quote or invoices.
  • All prices are listed in AUD and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or stock unavailability, with a full refund issued in such cases.

4. Shipping and Delivery

  • Estimated delivery timeframes are provided at checkout or on your quote and are not guaranteed.
  • Risk in the goods passes to the buyer upon delivery to the address provided.
  • It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive delivery, or that delivery instructions are accurate.

5. Warranty

Products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty as specified on the relevant product page. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Labpix's liability for any claim arising from your purchase is limited to the replacement, repair, or refund of the product. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of research data, research delays, or loss of grant funding, arising from product use or delivery delays.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this site — including text, images, logos, and branding — is the property of Labpix/Scope Scientific and may not be reproduced without permission.

8. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
