The 20MP is a high-resolution, large-area array camera that combines high resolution with strong sensitivity, well suited to fluorescence imaging. Its 1" sensor covers the optimal area of the image plane, and with 20 megapixels, it captures fine, detailed images.

  • Live image stitching. Builds a large mosaic image in seconds as you move the stage, quickly and smoothly.
  • Live EDF (depth-of-field fusion). As you turn the focus ring across different focal points, the camera generates a clear, large depth-of-field image, quickly and accurately.
  • 20MP for high-resolution capture. A large sensor covers the most uniform central area of the image plane, so you can capture high-definition detail in a single shot.

FAQ

Do I need a computer to use this camera?
Yes. It connects by USB 3.0 to a Windows PC running Mosaic V3.0.

Which C-mount adapter do I need?
The camera has a standard C-mount. Because the 1" sensor is large, adapter choice matters, so keep this in mind when purchasing your C-mount.

Is this suitable for fluorescence imaging?
Yes. It works with fluorescence microscopes, with exposures up to 15 seconds, and the software includes fluorescence image synthesis and editing. As a rolling shutter camera, it suits static samples best.

What does live image stitching do?
It builds a single large, high-resolution mosaic automatically as you move the microscope stage, which is useful for documenting larger sample areas without manual editing.

Can I get a formal quote?
Yes. Contact us with your institution details and we'll provide one.
