Choosing the right C-mount

0.66x shrinks the image, so a smaller sensor can capture a wider field of view. It's a good choice if your image looks too zoomed in or cropped.

1.0x applies no reduction, giving a 1:1 view with the tightest field of view. It suits larger sensors, which can make full use of the image circle without dark corners.
